Trombone:
The trombone is the only brass instrument that uses a telescoping slide mechanism, the most distinctive feature of the trombone.
2 types are used in SP Symphonic Band:
• B♭ Tenor Trombone
• Bass Trombone
Although not used in SP Symphonic Band, valve trombones typically using 3 valves like a trumpet also exist and can be used for certain repertoire, such as those containing fast musical passages.
